Blogs
Umrah is a spiritual journey that if done right can truly transform the soul. But like other rituals, it requires knowledge and information. We at Umrahtrip.com understand that searching for the right information can be draining and time-consuming. Hence, we prepare blogs that cover almost every subject matter and do the research for you. Our blogs are compilations of ideas and content from all authentic websites and writers. We hope you feel the same pleasure reading them that we had compiling them.

THE IHRAM
Ihram (Arabic: إحرام) is the sacred state that a pilgrim must enter before performing the Hajj and Umrah rituals. Before crossing the allotted Miqat, the pilgrim must cleanse his or her body, dress appropriately, and make the appropriate intention.

How is Umrah different from Hajj?
While there are variations between the Hajj and the Umrah, both are holy pilgrimages to Mecca that all Muslims should participate in. Both pilgrimages are spiritually cleansing and gratifying, and they deepen one’s comprehension of Hajar’s, Ibrahim’s, and Muhammad’s sufferings, as well as a believer’s bond with Allah.

How to perform Umrah?
The Umrah rituals are a collection of acts of faith undertaken by all pilgrims on their spiritual journey to the Holy Kaaba.
There are two versions of Umrah, depending on whether one chooses to perform Hajj after the completion of Umrah rituals: Al Umrah Al Mufradah (optional before Hajj) and Umrah Al Tammatu (required after Hajj) (obligatory before Hajj).
