(ORGANIZER)
The Muslim American Society
(MAS) is a charitable, religious, social, cultural, and educational,
not-for-profit organization. It is a pioneering Islamic organization, an
Islamic revival, and reform movement that uplifts the individual, family,
and society. MAS aspires to raise a generation of committed and disciplined
Muslims that will give roots to the comprehensive understanding of Islam and
will be at the forefront in the development of their communities. Our
objectives are:
To present the message of
Islam to Muslims and non-Muslims, and promote understanding between them
To encourage the
participation of Muslims in building a virtuous and moral society
To offer a viable Islamic
alternative to many of our society's prevailing problems
To promote family values in
accordance with Islamic teaching
To promote the human values
that Islam emphasizes: brotherhood, equality, justice, mercy, compassion,
and peace, and
To foster unity among
Muslims and Muslim organizations and encourage cooperation and coordination
amongst them

Association (ORGANIZER)
The Muslim Community
Association (MCA) is a non-profit religious organization and Islamic Center
located in Santa Clara, CA. Founded by dynamic professionals and Silicon Valley
entrepreneurs in the 80's, MCA provides religious and social services to a large
and diverse Muslim constituency that comes from over 40 nationalities, including
the United States, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Bosnia, South Asia and the Arab
world etc. Some of the services include congregational prayers and services for
over 2000 people, social and family-oriented events and activities, educational
programs for both adult and youth, for women and men, a full time K-8 Islamic
school, Qur'an and Weekend Islamic Schools, youth activities and programs,
counseling, free legal and medical clinics, financial aid/Zakah and more.

Islamic Relief USA is a
non-profit 501(c)(3) humanitarian organization, incorporated in the state of
California in 1993. We are a member of the Islamic Relief Worldwide family,
which is an international relief and development organization, striving to
alleviate the poverty and suffering of the world’s poorest people. Islamic
Relief Worldwide was established in 1984 in response to the widespread famine in
Africa. Since its establishment, Islamic Relief Worldwide has expanded greatly,
with permanent locations in 37 countries worldwide. Islamic Relief operates a
wide variety of projects, including education and training, water and
sanitation, income generation, orphan support, health and nutrition, and
emergency relief.
